Sierra shrugged her shoulders at the sudden disappearance of Aki and Mari. Wow, she thought. Mari is the new female beta! She must be so happy! she smiled at the thought of Aki having a mate again. She wagged her tail and walked of to hunt. She sniffed around but couldn't find any scents, of, anything! Prey was disappearing. And fast. She whined as her belly growled. She hadn't eaten anything since yesterday, and even that prey was a skinny little mouse.

Dove dived after the rabbit without a second thought, running at full speed she just barely managing to grab it's tail before it went in a pricker bush, she flipped it up into the air and caught it around it's neck and finished it. Turned and trotted back to Shadow and dropped it at his feet, panting and very happy "haha, I love rabbit hunting, this one isn't much but..." She stopped and sniffed the air, "Oh," she said disappointed,"It's just a deer, I never have been able to catch one of those,"

She brightened up, "Do you think we could? The last time I had deer was as a pup back at home, that was months ago..." She sniffed again, "Lets go for it,"

Dove hid the rabbit in the fork of a tree, suddenly regretting having to leave it. She turned and followed after Shadow. Her entire demeanor changed, she was slung low to the ground, her muscles taunt, her eyes intent on the direction she knew the deer would be in, her untrained paws still disturbed a leaf or two but other than that she made no sound.

(Okay, now I really have to go. I'm having a lot of fun so far :) )
