Aki rested his head on Mari's, he sighed. His body shook from exhaustion and pain. His heart pounded painfully, feeling twisted, as he looked at his injured and blood stained mate and packmates.
West laid in the snow, blood seeping from his wounds. He looked around wildly as Darkpack retreated, he was to dizzy, to tired and to scared to follow. He laid, nearly flat, in the snow, hoping now one would see him.
Luna had made it over the border, she leapt from an embankment into the river, she walked slowly, in the water until she found a deep pocket of water. She shivered as the water rose higher, until she had to paddle. The cold running water cleaned her wounds, and her fur of blood and stonepack stink. She swam to the other side and began limping for home. Her fore right paw was severely swollen and she couldn't put weight oh it. It was gonna be a long walk home.
