Sierra listened to her mates footsteps pad away, then sat down and sighed deeply.  Her father walked away, towards her mothers den.

(Thunder and Rain's pups are now 6 weeks old.)

Mari shook her head. "Aki? Do you think we're vulnerable?" Then she shook her head. "No," She answered the question herself. "Not with you as Beta." She looked up at him, and smiled.

Sierra stood up, gingerly placed paw after paw, and walked to her mother's den.

(Actually, me and Owllover PMed each other about Nike, and Senkah falling in love, and Nike becoming Alpha male of stonepack.)
