"I know." Elan murmured, he looked out of the den toward the forest. Part of him itched to fight, but he wanted to stay with Lightning.

Lightning sighed, she felt so useless. Aki and several other Stonepack wolves had gone off to fight, and here she was, just sitting around in her den.
