"Any time pup." Blizzard smiled.

Nike nosed him, and nipped playfully at his ear. "Don't call me pup!" He growled, laughing.

Sierra opened her eyes. "Yes, I'm fine." Then she looked wildly around. "Where's Thunder?!"

Nike nosed him, and nipped playfully at his ear.  "Don't call me pup!" He growled, laughing. 

"Yes sir!" Blizzard said playfully, then a sly smile stretched across his face. "I'll race ya." He barked as he pelted into the woods towards home.

Sierra opened her eyes. "Yes, I'm fine."  Then she looked wildly around. "Where's Thunder?!" 

"Shh.... it's okay." He whispered. "He went to go find your mom."

"Yes sir!" Blizzard said playfully, then a sly smile stretched across his face. "I'll race ya." He barked as he pelted into the woods towards home.

Nike growled, "No fair! I wasn't ready!" He charged after him.

"Shh.... it's okay." He whispered. "He went to go find your mom."

Sierra relaxed, and closed her eyes. "Where is Nike?" She asked, her tone calm again.

"He ran off, Blizzard went after him."

Nike growled, "No fair!  I wasn't ready!" He charged after him. 

Blizzard laughed, his long powerful legs surging him ahead. He practically flew over a downed a tree. "I win." He laughed as he skidded to halt just the den site.
