"Yay!" Spottedleaf and Thrushpelt bounded after her, completely forgetting about the pheasant wing.

"I'll mark over the old scent post over there," Gardenia said, pacing towards spot that smelled faintly of other wolves. "If everyone else wants to go hunting I'll join you when I'm done."

Starling rushed towards the pack Gardenia and Daze had named Meadowpack blindly. He'd found out what happened to Cedar, but he was still a failure. I'm the worst brother ever! he thought, It's my fault she was killed! I could have stayed with her...
 
"Timberfur and Meadowlark, but they're boring. Come on, let's hurry up already!" Spottedleaf yipped.

Kia saw Starling..Something wasnt right she thought...Hurrying over she said" Whats wrong starling?"

Daze watched Kia leave and looked at his mate..He began to mark his territory.." Gardenia..I was wondering if you wanted pups.." He said as he kept his gaze on his next target..Lifting his leg he marked a large tree..

"She...she..." Starling took a deeper breath. "I'm fine. I found out what happened to Cedar. She died almost a year ago."

Gardenia paused, thinking for a moment. "I'd love to start a family."
