Talc yelped as she was cut off. She tried to run, but was stumbling from surprise and so little knowledge of the land she was on.

Gray wasn't an experienced fighter, but he put to use what his dad had taught him, he growled, snapping at Talc's face, trying to force her back.
Aki heard his son howl and a strangers howl. "MARI" he barked, he turned to Tala. "Go into the den, stay there!!!" His voice stern and worried, Tala wasn't a fighter and he feared for her.
