Nyx ran into the denning site, ignoring the last wisps of smoke. "Clover!" she cried repeatedly. "Clover! CLOVER!"
"Nyx?" he whimpered. Nyx spun around and ran into her den.
"Clover! Clover, are you alright?!"
He nodded weakly, but his breaths were ragged. "Y-yah. I tried to find you, but...but you weren't here."
