Cyra was excited she had been watching the new pack all day. She was really hungry but that mattered little to her. Trying not to appear threatening at all she walked toward the alpha's den. It truly was not that hard since she was still in pup hood. Her small frame could easily be mistaken of that of a younger pup. At eight months she had seen many things but was glad her cheerfulness had stayed with her. "Hello, I am Crya and wish to join your pack." As her words left her mouth bent down to show ultimate submittion,

Lightning looked up in alarm as she saw an unknown wolf entered her den. Feeling a bit more at ease by the wolf's submission, but still protective of her pups, she shot to her feet. "Why?"

Releasing her preys leg she hurried over to Yukon. Sky gave a soft cry at the sight of blood. She licked Yukon's muzzle " I am sorry to have asked this of you. I wished not for pain upon you." Moving even closer Sky began to gently clean his wound. Forgetting a moment about the fresh kill.

Yukon shrugged away, he hated being seen as weak. "I'm fine." He said. They weren't far from ther border of Elan and lightning's territory. "All we have to do is drag it over the border, then you stay with the kill, and I'll go get them." His words sounded more of a command. He walked over and clamped his teeth around the neck. He was thankull the border was only a couple hundred feet away.

Lightning looked up in alarm as she saw an unknown wolf entered her den. Feeling a bit more at ease by the wolf's submission, but still protective of her pups, she shot to her feet. "Why?"

Whimpering Cyra for a moment felt her hackles rise in anger. Looking at the young pups settled her. " My parents had been outcasts for their match was not allowed. Her being an alpha and he an omega." Cyra now lay on the ground of the den looking at the pups. Their innocent slumber she yearned for. " A couple of months later we had been hunting close to the dark pack. Too close, they killed my parents and sister." Sighing Cyra now looked up and the black alpha and did something she had not done for five days. Moving close she whined low in her throat as a cry let loose and she finally allowed her self to mourn. The solid body she leaned on she so badly wanted to be her mother but it was not.

Feeling sorry for the pup, Lightning sighed. "It's not entirely my decision. I will have to wait until my mate gets back. But until then, you can stay here."

Narrowing her eyes Sky could understand the brush off. Commanding her like he was her alpha! She briefly barred her teeth at him to show her unhappiness at his rudeness. However, she moved away and sat near the kill. Still watching Yukon with hurt and angry eyes.

Yukon let go of the elk, and looked at Sky, his eyes held the look of apology, but for his life he couldn't bring himself to say sorry. He closed his eyes and looked away, why did if have to act so harden, why did he have to pretend like he was iinvincible, why did he have to guard himself, like a loving touch would kill him. He growled, his eyes and muzzle wrinkling with frustration. Was he wrong to think he could live a happy life. Was he just fooling himself into thinking he could be nice. He shook his head, he hoped Sky might understand the turmoil his heart and mind were going through. "Are you going to help me drag this?" He whispered

For a brief moment she remained huddled against the alpha's body before she moved away. Hope dragged away the sadness and she felt her usual happiness return. " Alpha I am humbled by your kindness. If you would liked i can assist with watching your pups. My sister loved to wander." A image of her twin that looked exactly like her ran through her mind. She had loved to chase the small things that roamed the forest. A sweet and innocent mind she was.
