"Aww!" Faolen whined. Frost jumped at her father, and batted his fur with her small paw.

Cyra yipped in joy and moved toward the pups. She picked up one gently since he was laying atop his sister. After that task was accomplished she settled down on the side nearest the den wall. The pups wiggles and barked but did not awake " I envy them their innocence, and restful slumber." Cyra said softly before laying her head near the smallest female.

"she comes from beyond these lands." He looked up quickly, then back down. "I...I was beta in pine pack, but the pack disbanned and I became a loner."

Lightning watched Cyra closely, still remaining protective of her pups but slowly accepting Cyra. She wrapped her tail around the pups and Cyra.

Venus and Stripe stood back away from Faolen, Mari, and Aki, staying by themselves. They felt... different from the rest of Aki and Mari's pups.

After eating nearly a whole leg Sky began to hope that Yukon would bring some back up to haul this thing the rest of the way. If he came back at all, she thought. Loneliness crept in, in when she blinked she could see the metal cage.

Venus and Stripe stood back away from Faolen, Mari, and Aki, staying by themselves. They felt... different from the rest of Aki and Mari's pups.

Mari looked up, and smiled, gesturing for them to come over. She loved all her pups with the same unconditional love.
