Quickly standing up Daze scanned the forest closest to him. Something was moving closer to him. Narrowing his eyes he wondered if his call had been taken as a threat.Not that it had been threatening in any kind of way. A streak of white flashed in his sight for a moment " Who is out there, come face me." He said with just a hint of a threat.

Gardenia stuck her face out of a few bushes in surprise. "I-I-I..." she started to say something but couldn't seem to get the words out.

Gardenia started to back away, her ears flat against her head. She glanced at the other wolf, hoping he wasn't part of a pack that would attack her.

Sniffing hotly Sky took another small step closer, an inch away now. Looking up into eyes full of hidden emotions she smiled " I may want land to call my own some day. Yet again I don't have any to rule with me. I wish not of enemies ever gaining a upper hand. Human or not." Sky braced herself for what she was about to do was a move from pup hood. Leaning up she brushed her head against his jaw.
 If she liked it or not she was alone in this new world of warmth. Making allies was good, but she saw something odd in his eyes. Maybe the pup in her was still leading her astray but what else was there to do but move forward.

Yukon froze as she nuzzled him. his eyes bright, yet hesitant, he slowly licked her cheek. "I can't promise you a land, but I can promise you a follower....." he lowered his head, to the same level as hers, showing her that they were equals. His eyes swam as he held her gaze.

Sierra's white body padded from the trees, a fat rabbit hanging from her jaws. "Hi sleepy head!" She called, and dropped the rabbit infront of him. 

"Morning." He smiled, grinning from ear to ear. He licked her cheek, his tail wagging. "Thank you." He whispered as he dropped to a bite.

He saw her frightened step backward and realized he didn't want her to leave. " Wait, I wont harm you. I just came to this place and wanted to make sure no one would attack me." Even though he disliked it he slightly showed his neck to her to prove his lack of danger toward her.

Mari's knees shook. "Summer, where did you go?" Her voice was full of concern. "I-" Summer burst into sorry and frightened tears; "I went to find you breakfast, a-and I caught a mouse. I really did dad!" She piped up, then turned sad again, "I saw a big black figure, and I thought it was a deer, so I bit at it's leg. He growled at me, and flung me into the snow.  Then he sniffed me, and realized who I was. He smelled momma on me, and remembered how she had attacked him." She whimpered, and threw herself against Aki's leg, trembling with fright. 

"You Never Leave the den site without me or your mother!" He barked sternly. Then he placed his paw on her back, wrapping it into a 'hug', to comfort her.

Nighta sniffed the air, then cautiously jogged over the pine pack border, he made a b-line for the den site
