Atra paused, glaring at the wolf. "Protection, huh? I suppose if a higher ranking wolf, let's say a rank like MINE, decided you shouldn't have walked into their territory with one wolf on your side, how long would the 'protection' last?"

(Yep, she does. She suppose to be a jerk, though.)
 
(Wind's with Scarlet right now, and Sunfire is looking for Mist.)
 
Nighta and Luna jogged along the edge of a new pack.
"Smells like stone pack split." Luna growled.
"yeah and pinepack .disbanded." Nighta sneered. "So I wonder where my useless brothers ended up?"
Luna sniffed the trees, and a blood trail. "Smells like someone was dragging an elk." She drooled.
Nighta nodded and they followed the scent of Yukon and the elk blood.

Then I suppose a certain alpha would be highly upset.. you of all wolf's must know your mate's temper...Kia barred her teeth... her rank was right under alphas but still under..

Sky was still warming up from Yukon soaking her when she heard a noise..Yukon.. Sky moved over to Yukon ever he ate his fill on elk..there is something coming..

Atra laughed, this time with sincerity but also with bitterness, "It's called LOVE. Yes, I feel it too. I suggest you get your nose out from under mine or only one of us will have ours in a few seconds."

What are you talking about.. Kia said harshly, I have no mate. and I definitely don't wish to have yours...

Nighta came upon the leftovers of an old elk bull, he smelled of Yukon, and some unknown she wolf. Nighta turned to Luna, "Stay a couple yards behind me." He snarled, "I want them to think I'm alone."
He turned and melted into the shadows, his thick black coat blending perfectly with the deep rich colored bark and the long dappled shadows. He slunk, tail straight out, ears forward, eyes on alert. Each paw carefully placed on the earth, between stick and leaves, so as not to make a sound. His breathing controlled, In with a step, out with the next. His shoulder's flexed, up and down, raising the hackles on his neck. His bright yellow eyes seemed to glow in the dark. He ever so slowlay neared the main den site of Thunder pack.
