Lightning laughed with her mate, but kept a close eye in case Timber was swept away.

Nikki froze, then lunged for its neck. The herd began to scatter, stampeding in all directions. Nikki clung onto the deer's neck as it ran, trying to get her off.

Sunfire looked at her. "Do you want this?"

Breeze sneered and walked away; she got jealous when Sunfire talked to other female wolves.

"Sounds good." Scarlet nodded, and began slinking through the trees toward the scent. It began to get stronger and stronger, until a large herd came into view.

Timber squeaked, nipping at the fish which was still trying to swim away. His little jaws finally closed around the base of the tail, but he wasn't strong enough the fling it from the water. So, instead, he dragging himself and the fish to land. He held the wriggling silver fish tightly in his little jaws, beaming proudly. "Did ya' watch me mama? Did ya' watch me dad?!" he yipped through the fish's scales.

Chayton flew across the ground, then flung himself at the deer's head. He timed it just right so that he would actually bite it's throat. His jaws clamped around his target, and he began squeezing.

Mist looked startled. "Um, no. It's yours. You eat it." She made a motioning movement with her tail, got and started to walk away.
