Aki stumbled away from the river, he hung his head, ashamed for losing a prime piece of land. Up ahead he saw Tala and Gray laying by an old cave.
"Dad." Gray ran forward, his voice choked by a sob. "Its Tala."
aki whined and raced up to his dadaughter. "Tala?" He nudged her. The wound on her neck was deep, and bled badly. Aki whined, nudging her. ''Tala?''
"d....dad?" Tala chocked out, her voice weak.
"It'll be okay." He whined. "Gray, go find you mother and brother and sister."
Gray nodded and raced into the forest. "MOTHER, FAOLEN, SUMMER?" He howled

"Mari!?" Aki howled

"Sure," Sitka said, forcing a halfhearted smile. Blizzard was kind, but she couldn't help wishing that it was Chayton instead.

Blizzard tore the rabbit in half and nudge the larger piece over to Sitka. "Are you okay?"

Mari tore into Ebony's scruff as they puonded each other's faces with their paws. Both wolves were unaware that the battle had ended; both were very tired. Mari's paws dragged sluggishly as she moved to get out of the way of Ebony vicious bite. She lunged, and Ebony just barely missed her teeth.

"Clover...he must still be somewhere near the dens. Have you seen your father or sister recently?" (Sorry, I don't know what happened to them.)

(Koga and wren died, they were killed by a bull elk, and Sky left shortly after).
Rebel nodded, "well then let's head for the dens."

Gray raced towards the sound of battle. "Mom." He barked. He snarled when his eyes locked on Ebony. "Your pack already won, you already took some of our land. GO HOME!" He tried to step between his mother and the black wolf.

Ebony groggily stepped back. "See, you weak little mutt." He slurred, his eyes narrowed, locked on Mari. "You lose." He sneered, then bounded away. Mari rushed forward, but stopped when she bumped into her son. Groaning, she fell weakly to her knees.

"Let's get you back to camp," he said, "Nikki knows a lot about herbs. She can heal you."

"I want to join your pack," she whimpered.
