Talc didn't dare walk up to the alphas. She had fought a bit, but she had spent most of the battle running from Riverpack.

Maripan looked into the smoke filled sky. He howled out in search of others that knew the pack call....nothing came he howled again. Pain was all over him but he had to do this for Nyx.

Nyx panted as she ran. She stumbled as smoke hid a log from her view.
