Nighta waited paiciently for Atra to ponder her thoughts. he scanned the forest, wondering where Luna and Lupus and run off to.

Nyx growled, but it turned to a yelp when she was bowled over in surprise. Thrush snarled weakly, advancing as bravely as she could despite how much her pack was weakened.
"Stonepack," Atra muttered, the name sending shivers of rage up her spine. She knew they would have to conquer easier land first--just to stay strong, but the more she thought of her sister the more she longed for revenge.
Nikki's breaths became shallower and weaker. She wasn't panicked at all; she almost felt... surreal. "Goodbye, Chayton," she rasped. "I love you." Her head fell onto the soft moss, and her eyes slowly began to close as she felt her life slipping away, like water in between her paws.
North lay beside his mate, giving her a lick on the muzzle as he looked at their pups in wonder.
Sitka rolled around anxiously in her den,. Her sleep was uneasy.
Chayton stirred in his sleep, unaware of Nikki's breathing. He moaned, twitched his ears, then fell silent.
