West hauled the elk up another ledge, foam formed atis mouth from the effort. He steadied the elk, and took a breath, looking behind him he smiled. "One more ledge." He panted. grabbing the elk again.

Koda yawned and shivered, "I'm Koda." He was cold, his coat was matted from blood. He was hungry and scared. He walked over to Sierra, he buried his nose against her shoulder and curled his body tight against her thick fur.

"Hi Son." He whispered padding to his son's side. "How you holding up?" He asked, worry wrinkled his brow

"Nike?" West called, as he drug the elk over the last ledge. He dropped the elk and jumped to edge. "You okay?"

Koda sighed happy to be near to another wolf and out of the dens of death.
