Quote: Mist spotted him, and lowered her eyes to the ground. She had resolved not to talk with him much, because of the murderous glares the other she-wolf shot at her. (Shoot.. forgot her name.)

(Breeze)

Fire awoke as he saw a shape standing over him. He narrowed his eyes darkly, "Breeze?"

Breeze dropped a rabbit at his paws. "I want to say I'm sorry."

Fire rolled his eyes. "Look Breeze, I know exactly what you're doing. You're not sorry. I don't have any feelings for you anymore. I love another she-wolf now, and there's nothing you can do about it." He got up, pointedly turned his back, and padded away. Breeze watched him go longingly, padding away somberly into her den.
(Aw... that's sad. :( Poor Breeze.)

Mist tucked her tail far under her legs, hurrying to put her prey where the alphas could get at it. Then she dashed for her den, curling up in the back.

Fire looked around for Mist. He went by her den, then frowned, padding away.
Mist saw his figure in the entrance, and scooted farther into the shadows. She laid her head on her paws, whining softly. She really did love Sunfire, but... Breeze seemed to catch his attention.

Fire went out into the countryside by himself. At one point he truly did love Breeze, even though they weren't officially mates yet. But when she had intimidated Mist and been so possessive of him, he had grown to almost hate Breeze. He wanted to confess his love to Mist so much, and ask her to be his mate, but she'd think he was either nuts, or a wolf who wanted multiple mates. He lifted his head and let out a mournful howl.
Mist pricked her ears, catching his howl. Her heart dropped to her rib cage, and she got up. She started to head toward him, but that meant passing Breeze's den.

Breeze had left to go by the river. She stared down into the rushing water.

"My old pack just left one day." Cloud sighed. "But before that, I was a loner just like now."

Gray looked at her. "I'm sorry." He paused. "Well you have a pack again now." He half smiled. "we just lost some of our land to dark pack, so be careful not to go over the river. they killed one of my sisters in the attack."

Cloud winced. "They're that bad?"

she nodded"we need to get it away from the others, you steer the rest of the herd away while I corner it.then we'll meet back up to finish it off."she whispered
"Well, I was thinking...um, okay," Night said, feeling a bit dumb.

Night loped out after her. He started to snap and chase the smaller cows, waiting for Greenleaf to start before he tried to get the older bulls away from their target.

Night jumped at a stubborn adult elk, yelping as its hoof shot out at him. He stole a glance at Greenleaf. "Y-you o-okay?" His ribs stung like crazy, but he kept up his work.

Gray growled, "They are murderous!!" He took a deep breath. "Watch yourself around them, and if you're near the river, never let your guard down."
Cloud gulped. "So...is your pack a big one? I know your father said you were in trouble, but you seem strong enough to defend this land."
