Myth heard him and rotated her eyes on him, "Dipping my paw in the water." she sighed of boredom. "You?" she asked, detaching her paw from the river.

"Nothing." Gray sighed, flopping down beside her. His tougne lolled to the side, as he panted in the heat of the afternoon.

Chayton fell onto his side in surprise. "Argh!" he yelped in shock, staggering to his feet. Then his eyes rested on Nikki. The one wolf he didn't, er, did want to see.... in a way. "Yeah! 'Course! Um.. yup."

His eyes darkened at the sight of Rebel's wound, and he looked Rebel in the eyes. Sahara looked anxiously at her father. "Son... this is bad. We need to get you to our place to fix you up." he said in his crackly voice. 

Rebel let out a low growl, he felt secure against a she-wolf, but the stranget male brought up the instinct to protect himself. He forced himself to sstay calm. He struggled to his feet again, holding his back left paw up. He simply nodded, afraid the pain would show in his voice.
