Nikki forced a smile.
Chayton saw through the smile, and his heart fell. His ears drooped, "Gonna bury this for later." he muttered, burying the bird. Once done, he looked up. "C'mon." he mumbled and headed toward the dens.
Nikki flattened her ears. So now he's mad at me. Grudgingly she followed. Chayton padded along, the strong scent of Thunderpack filling his nostrils. He let out a long howl, so as to let Elan and Lightning know they were coming.
Mist froze in her hunting. Two wolves stood a ways from her, and in Thunderpack territory. They had the strong scent of Stonepack on them. Her tail drooped, but suddenly she raised it again. This was her pack they invading! C'mon you dope, attack! She snarled at herself. Then, she leaped at the large male, latching her sharp jaws on his lower throat. Chayton yelped, vigorously shaking to get away. Mist snarled, hanging on.
Nikki jumped back in surprise, starting to lunge at her when a fiery-brown figure slammed into her side. She gasped for air, staring up at the intimidating figure. Sunfire. "What are you doing in our territory?!" He snarled, shaking her by her throat. Mist was about to add lib, when suddenly the male wolf she thought she had pinned, hurled her to the ground, and latched his strong jaws around her neck. And since she was a light weight wolf, with a very small figure, he easily lifted her off the ground. "Fire!" she tried to gasp, but her words were lost. He was tightening his grip on her windpipe. "Let her go!" Chayton snarled, shaking Mist for emphasis. "We're only here to see Lightning and Elan. Our SIBLINGS." He growled.
Nikki let out a weak cry as Fire clenched harder on her neck. "No." He growled. "Drop her, or not only will she die, we won't let you see them." Chayton narrowed his eyes, then squeezed down hard on Mist's windpipe, but made sure Sunfire didn't see. Then he dropped the silver she-wolf, and waited expectantly at Fire. Mist flopped on the ground, barely able to talk.
Roughly, Fire threw Nikki away, not particularly caring how she landed. Nikki hit her back on a tree, and her limbs shriveled closer to her body. Chayton quickly picked up Mist again, and stood in front of Nikki. "Take us to your alphas." He ordered. He narrowed his eyes, growling.
"Let her go first, or I won't." Chayton snarled, tossing Mist at him. She hit the ground, looking at Chayton weakly, but defiance was thick in her eyes.
"I said let her go, not throw her you idiot!" Fire snapped, before raising his head and howling to call the rest of Thunderpack for reinforcements.
(Her Silkies, I don't mean to be annoying but do you want to RP on warriors?) Chayton smirked. Just what he wanted him to do. He turned around, and nuzzled Nikki. "Are you alright?" he asked, his voice full of concern.
(I can't right now, but I will try in a bit. I've gotta go.)
"I-I'm fine," she murmured weakly.
Around, several wolves came charging towards the scene. "Who are you?! Why are you on our territory?!" One of them, a sleek black she-wolf who was strikingly similar to Autumn, snarled.
"And what have you done to Mist?!" A he-wolf, who looked similar to the she-wolf, added, snarling.
Breeze was there also, and much as she detested Mist, even she curled her lips back. (Crap. Forgot you changed her name.)
Seconds later, Élan burst into the scene. He was bulked up, ready to defend his pack, but as soon as his eyes rested on Chayton he smiled. "Chayton!" He barked, smiling. "And Nikki-! Wait, what's going on here?!"
"He just attacked Mist," Fire growled, standing protectively beside Mist.
Autumn burst through the bushes, looking at Chayton and Nikki, then to Fire, Mist, and her pack quizzically. Her coat had become even sleeker and shinier, and her figure was much more lithe than it had been back when she was in Stonepack. To add, her eyes also had a different gleam; she no longer looked at Chayton and Nikki as equals. Rather, as subordinates. "I'd like to know the same thing too," Autumn agreed, coming to Elan's side.
Mist let out a raspy sound, then struggled to stand. She nearly fell over from dizziness, and bumped into Fire. "I heard a howl, and smelled Stonepack, so I attacked. I warned them to go away, then he pinned me to the ground." she explained, then blushed. "I'm not that good of a fighter." she murmured, so only Fire could hear.
"You're fine," Fire whispered back, "he was just stronger than you."
Autumn looked at Mist, then at Nikki. "Mist, you should have questioned them first," Autumn said a bit sternly. "They may not have had bad intentions. But," her gaze grew even harder, yet pained as she looked back at Nikki and Chayton. She knew they were in the right, but as much as it pained her, she couldn't side with them; not anymore. "Chayton, you should have explained the situation first before wounding Mist so gravely. I love you both, but I will defend my pack." Her eyes were a bit pained at what she had to say, but firm. "Now, what is your business here?" Ever so slightly, her tail began to wag. She hadn't seen them in so long!
