Sierra's white figure shone as she padded to the entrance. "Nice catch." she complemented. She tore off a piece of the meat, and held it in front of Sahara's nose. Her eyes opened, and a look of wild hunger came into them. Her nostrils flared, she reached out with her jaws to take it. Sierra let her have it, and within seconds the young she-wolf had devoured the whole thing. Sierra's face hardened. She turned and stalked up to the old male wolf. "Come with me." she said sharply, and he did. They went out of the den, and Sierra whirled around to face him. Her hackles raised and with a look of pure disgust she started to speak. "Listen to me you old skunk. How dare you leave her underfed and starving! She needs to eat too you know! She went into shock because of how thin she was! If she wasn't, she could have handled the attack easily!" her voice was shrill with fury as she glared up at him. Sahara's father bulked up and stared down at Sierra. "Listen. There ain't enough prey in the loner land for us. I'm old, and a young wolf like her can't hunt for two. I didn't make her thin, the range did. She eats enough, in fact, she eats just as much as me! I don't know what it is that makes her skinny. Now be quiet and mind your own business!" he snarled in her face. Sierra pulled her lip back, and crouched as if ready to attack.

West stood, his young body taller than the old male, his eyes gleamed with a warning, as if to say ' you attack her, and you have to deal with me.'

Rebel had come from the cave, he looked at the tense scene. "I've said it before, why don't you join a pack, as long as it isn't dark pack, you'll find most packs around here are nice." His filled with a bit of authority. "And as for Sahara, she is staying HERE! Inside my pack's land, until she better." He looked at the old wolf, almost as if daring him to try and move her away.

Aki lay by the river's edge, gazing at his reflection, he had begun to feel more confident about his pack again. He was relaxed, when suddenly a clap and splintering tree, made him jump. "No." He growled, he was very fimiliar with hunters, in fact its how he and Mari had met. He leapt to his pelting towards his Family. He raced past Gray. "Come on." He yelled. Gray turned, his claws raked the earth as they found traction. Aki sprinted. "Mari?" He called racing for the dens

Mari trotted happily out of the den where Summer and Elki were. The pups was doing great, and Summer was doing much better. She whirled around at the sound of Aki's voice.

Sahara's father curled his lip. "She is only staying here if she chooses to." he snarled back, glaring at the wolves around him.
Sierra moved closer to West, her ears pinned back.

Rebel walked back into the den, he carried another piece of meat with him. "Sahara, will you stay here with me?" He asked, "I can feed you, and protect you."

West glared at the old wolf, "Why would you keep your daughter from joining a pack, or finding a mate? She is nearly dead with starvation, why wouldn't you just move lands? There are plenty of loner lands." west's voice was skeptical. He was uneased by this old wolf's demeanor.

(Ok!)

Ruthy trotted around cautiously. Her ears perked up as she listened to very loud booms that thundered through the forest. She quickly turned and ran the opposite direction, not wanting to get into any trouble with those pesky hunters.

Jaci had also moved off away from the thundering booms. she wasn't familiar with hunters, but knew to stay clear of such loud noises. She crossed through a small opening in the trees.
