Quote: Wildfire curled around Zero lovingly, making sure to leave room for the male pup.
Hallie and Trista, seemingly bored from playing with themselves and each other, lunged into the den, onto their brother.
Wildfire uncurled, looking around warily. There seemed to be commotion outside the den. Ears forward, he padded out and to Hunter and Azar. "What's wrong?"
~~~
Cyan prowled around StonePack territory, simply staring at a red she-wolf... Faedon, she faintly remembered her name being. Whoever she was, Cyan was curious.
~~~
Willowsong muttered in her sleep, tossing and turning every which way. She was dreaming... and it wasn't a pleasant dream: DarkPack was attacking, and all of the wolves were going for Cody. With a start, the she-wolf woke up, sweat clinging to her pelt.
Garron yelped, and coiled his limbs against his body in an attempt to shield himself.
Hunter looked up at Wildfire. "I can't find Silver. She left."
______
Faedon basked in a warm stream of tranquil sunlight beside the river. The river bubbled up as it gracefully rolled over the smooth stones in the bed, creating a bouncy, laughing sound. Faedon's grayish-red pelt was lit aflame by the sunshine.
______
Dawn was about to break over the mountains. The black sky faded to a rich, milky indigo hue. The moonlight was still bright, and it shone across the forest, lighting it up as though it was daytime. Near the edge of the densite, a set of tracks faintly reeking of Cody trailed offf into the forest. The scent was still fresh; he'd only left about 10 minutes ago, if that. Hallie let out a happy yip and pawed at Garron, while Trista tugged at his tail.
Wildfire's eyes narrowed slightly. "Well, come on. We can find her together."
Cyan stepped forward, muzzle close to the ground. As if her paws had a mind of their own, she found herself right next to the other she-wolf, simply staring.
Willowsong prowled out of her densite, trying to shake the sweat out of her fur but to no avail. "Cody?" she whispered. "Cody?"
"Stop!" Garron barked with irritation.
______
Faedon realized that a strange scent was growing stronger and stronger. She surged to her paws, whirling around to face Cyan. Her ears swerved behind her, and she took a few wary steps back. "Wh-what are you doing?"
______
Cody was sitting in a thick grove of pine trees. He watchd as a mouse scuttled about under the pine needles.
"You're no fun...!" Hallie whined, backing up to sit on her haunches.
Trista scowled at Garron before scurrying out of the den to find someone else to irritate.
Wildfire shot Hunter another strange look. "Well? Shall we look for her?"
----------
Cyan backed away, tail tucked in between her legs in submission. "I-I'm sorry," she murmured, "I didn't mean to scare you... I was just curious of who you are."
----------
"Cody?" Willowsong allowed her nose to bring her to the grove. "What are you doing?"
"No... you don't understand. There's no way she's anywhere close to here anymore."
(If you still want Koda to find her, she's in the loner lands.)
______
Faedon was still a bit wary, but she forced her fur to lie flat. She was trying to be a bit more welcoming to loners, like her mother was. "My name's Faedon. And you are..?"
______
Cody started a bit. The mouse that Cody was watching bolted, and Cody sighed with defeat as he could only watch his breakfast get away. "Well, I was going to eat that mouse."
