Zero shrieked and fell back. She kicked with her limbs wildly as she fell onto her back, exposing her belly. Her terrified blue eyes stared up at Wildfire pleadingly. Wildfire lowered his head in submission, but his ears quickly shot up. "What was that for?" he spat, his blue eyes blazing and black pelt bristling.






Zero leaped to her paws. Her ears were back in submission, and her tail was tucked between her legs, with the white tip twitching. She held herself high, and her hackles bristled, but her eyes reflected her terror. "Are you blind?! We're fighting with Darkpack! You were slinking around; how was I supposed to know you weren't with them?!" Wildfire's ears slowly came forward, and a small snarl creeped across his muzzle. "You have my word. I'm not involved with Darkpack. I came from a pack west of here. They threw me out because my brain was to big enough for their egos."





"Sure you weren't the problem?" Zero retorted, but started to calm down. She shook the leaves and dust out of her pelt. Wildfire scowled. "Hardly. They should of respected their alpha, those deceitful bunch of mutts!"




Zero rolled her eyes. "Whatever, then! I need to get back to my pack, or they might lose." She turned, and started to pelt away, towards the fighting. "Wait," Wildfire grumbled. "I'm a good fighter. I'll help." He trotted, paws stepping high, to Zero. He reached out his snout to sniff her side. "There. Now I'll know who to fight." He glanced backwards when he had advanced a few feet. "What's your pack's name? And, in that case, are they looking for any new members? I'd do good, as a... beta. Or, you know, alpha." The black he-wolf shot a smirk at Zero.



Zero rolled her eyes. "Stonepack. Yeah, we're always looking for packmates, but we've already got an alpha pair and a beta. Believe me when I say that any one of them will clean your plow if you try and challenge them. I don't suggest you do; you'll just look like a fool and get yourself exiled." Wildfire smirked as he rolled on his paws and yawned. "If I'm correct, you just cowered in front of me. That's saying something." Zero knew in her mind that she'd made herself look like an idiot earlier by cowering, but she wouldn't admit it outwardly. "I'm actually lower on the ranks. The fact that I attacked you at all?" She mimicked Wildfire's voice mockingly, "That's saying something." "Yes, it is," he agreed. "That's saying that you're quite the amazing wolf!"

Zero rolled her eyes. "Just shut up and go away. I don't have time to yak my jaws off with you." "Oh, dear," he smirked, "you should know that I'm not the type to 'go away'!"

"Joy," Zero muttered. "Then do something useful, at least."

Wildfire raised his snout to the air. A scowl started to form along his velvet muzzle. He was tired and hungry from days of traveling, and now he was going to run right into a fight. Great.

Zero had started to charge off towards Ebony, when she thought she heard something in the woods. She snarled, but felt icy talons of fear grip her heart. Has Darkpack set a trap...? Instinct took over. She raced towards Wildfire, and without even bothering to look at him, lunged for him. Her jaws snapped about wildly; she didn't care how she wounded this wolf, all that mattered was that she did.

Mist looked to see Akira coming. She couldn't leap away, but tried to roll out of the way.

Kodiak grinned in a wolfish fashion. He jumped into the air, springing his legs in a way that would land him on his back. Sierra needed to let go, or else she'd be crushed to death under the massive wolf's weight.
Sierra screeched, getting her back leg crushed under his weight. Nothing broke as they were in the middle of a grass field, but it hurt her badly. Her head hit the ground, and she yelped. She tried to drag herself away.

"Oh, you're not going anywhere!" Kodiak lunged for her, his jaws aiming for her scruff. "Care to explain why a wolf in my pack is coated in your nasty stench, she-wolf?" he spat. He had a pretty good idea of what had happened before he and Atra arrived... but because Timber was the brother of one of Darkpack's most trusted wolves, Kodiak would make an exception for him and wouldn't jump to a conclusion.
Sierra screeched, and kicked at him while she hung from his jaws. "I don't have to explain anything to you!.. you, you bag of fleas!" she growled, but knew she was done for after she said it.

Kodiak, still holding her scruff in his jaws, tried to pin her to the ground. He kicked back when her paws hit his shins. The suspicion in his mind only grew; now he was almost sure Timber and Sierra had met, but he wanted to know for sure. "Oh, you'll tell me, alright. We wouldn't want anything to happen to your precious mate... now would we?" His eyes glinted with malice. Even though he didn't know for sure, bluffing was tried and true, and he would try and scare her into coughing up the truth.
Sierra was pinned back-down against the ground, held by his paws. She shrieked, thrashing wildly. "No! NO! You wouldn't kill him!! YOU SCUM BAG!" she howled, though her voice was getting weaker by the second. If she shared anything, surely Timber would be killed.

"Oh, yes I would, dearie." Kodiak grinned as he bit down harder on Sierra's scruff. "I know it's Timber, sweetheart. But you better come clean and admit it, or else I will kill Timber. And I'll make sure he knows about how you let him die." Kodiak was almost certain that it was Timber now. He didn't know for sure, but he'd test the water and bluff to see if it was true. During his time as an alpha, he'd learned that bluffing often pumped more information out of enemy wolves than threats alone.
Sierra let out a weak cry, feeling his teeth sink deeper... and deeper into her flesh. "Please...!" she whimpered, white fuzz dancing in the blackness of her vision. She pushed her front paws weakly against his chest, as if that would keep him from doing more damage.

Mist had rolled onto her back and bunched her back legs ready to see of she could kick Akira back.

Faedon glanced at both of them, a growl rumbling deep in her chest as she pinned her ears flat against her skull. She was managing... but could she take down two wolves at once? Faedon didn't let her thoughts stray that way; she couldn't. She was just too prideful. She looked at the ground and smirked; during the scuffle, they'd torn away quite a bit of grass. Faedon kicked the dirt with her hind legs, flinging dust and dirt towards Amber so that she couldn't see Faedon. Then, Faedon whirled around and lunged for Moss. Hopefully, it would at least distract Amber long enough for Faedon to inflict a crippling wound on Moss.

Moss made several quick snaps at Faedon's muzzle. Her neck was torn badly. While not a fatal wound, the amount of blood Moss was continuing to loose as she fought was dangerous. She desperately looked to Amber, too loyal to Darkpack to flee but dreading Faedon's next move against her.

Senkah didn't fall, but she stumbled. She wheeled around, and started to leap again, but her foot got caught by a rock...

Atra took advantage of this and went straight for Senkah's neck, mostly aiming to pin her and get more damage in.
