Pitch finished his rabbit and stood, ready to move off again

Nikko looked at her like she was an alien, then padded briskly after her.

Muri returned with a rabbit in her mouth. She snaked out her muzzle until it was straight ahead, and offered it to Nikko once he approached.

Nikko was somewhat surprised by her gesture, but accepted it. "Eh... Thanks?" he said.

"What? Is there something wrong?" She asked, cocking her head.

Willowsong had not seen him yet, so she decided go drink in her new surroundings.




"Sure." Her started to wag a bit slowly.

Cody's howl came off in the distance. A caribou had been killed, and it was ready for the pack to eat. Wildfire tipped his head back and parted his massive jaws in a howl, calling the pack.

Willowsong's trot sped into a sprint, her nose guiding her towards the scent of fresh kill.


Hunter and Silver reluctantly came. They were still getting used to the idea of new alphas... but they weren't keen on the idea of leaving the pack, and if they didn't want to do that, this was the way it was.

Cody dug his muzzle into the caribou's leg and after a couple minutes of tugging and twisting, he pried it off. He dragged it off, and sank his teeth in to the meat, staining his muzzle crimson red. Wildfire took off at a sprint, motioning with his tail for the others to follow.

Willowsong pried off a leg and looked around for the alphas.

Hunter, Silver, and Zero took off after them.

Senkah and Hades were seated at the caribou's belly. Larch and Collia were sharing a leg. "There's one!" Wildfire hissed. The he-wolf crouched down so his belly nearly hit the ground.

Willowsong dragged the leg over to Cody, and began to eat it.

Zero sank to the ground beside him, her sharp eyes locked onto the caribou. Excitement tingled within her white paws, as Hunter and Silver fanned out nearby.

"Hey." Cody raised his head to greet her, before he took another bite of the tasty caribou.

Wildfire took a few stalking steps forward, keeping as silent as he could in the dry grass. Snow was beginning to fall in tiny flakes, sprinkling his jet-black pelt.
Just as suddenly as lightning strikes the ground, the he-wolf sprang forward, gripping the deer's leg in his teeth as it bolted at the sudden movement.

Willowsong nodded apprehensively in greeting while she scarfed down the leg she had pried off the carcass.

Zero surged forwards with churning paws. With a powerful jump, Zero launched herself forwards, crashing into the deer and making it stumble. She kept a firm grip on its throat, in an attempt to drag it down.

Cody shifted away from her a bit.
Wildfire clung to the leg with his massive jaws, moving them from right to left in attempt to hit bone.

Willowsong looked up at him curiously. "Do I smell, or something?"

Phoenix waited and observed the Stonepack wolves eating. Ash sat somewhere near the caribou's back/hip area, as he was an elder. Phoenix watched Faedon curiously.

Faedon sat beside the alphas, where the beta (in Stonepack's case, Aki) would sit. Because she was the alpha's daughter, she had more privileges and could get away with much more than the other wolves. But Senkah was still very stern, and didn't let her wolves get away with crap; even if she did give Faedon more chances than she would to the other wolves, she still made sure that Faedon minded her place.
