Ember looked at Saffron. "Ah, you again," she said. "Why didn't you come over before? Scared?"

Saffron snorted at Ember and said furiously, "You don't know anything about me." He then turned towards Dawn. "It's okay." He said to her.

Saffron glanced at Dawn and quickly looked away. He wasnt sure if he heard her correctly. "D-dawn, we aren't mates..." He said quietly and blushed.

Saffron watched her run off and let out a deep sigh.

With one last look at the stallion and mare by the stream, Saffron turned and headed towards the woods. He didnt feel like it was best for him to stick around any longer.
