West fell upon the rabbit devouring nearly half before he stopped and looked up at the she-wolf. "Thank you!" he whispered. "Do you want some?" he said, a small smile on his lips.

Stone kicked a rock across the ice of the stream that ran by the Sagepack camp.

Whisper was cleansing herself from the caribou's crimson blood. Her ears quivered to the tinking noise from Stone's kicking. She lifted her eyes skyward and discovered it was Stone, "What you doing?" She asked, rolling onto her paws.
