well i think japanese bantams are adorable! so i ordered two awhile ago. the btw is doing well, laid a tiny, tiny white egg just the other day... the grey japanese has FLOWN THE COOP!
i mean that literally... she was out free-ranging with the rest, and just up and FLEW away for no reason. she flew on top of the barn and perched there. the barn is at least 30 feet high... it's 2+ stories... we can't catch her! she has been gone for a week now, and won't come back! i KNOW she is alive because every once in awhile we will see her!!! she runs around barns, the yard, everywhere! and if we come close to catching her, she flies up and perches on top of one of the barns or a house and won't come down... she looks healthy and like she's eating and drinking...
what should i do??? i feel horrible that she has gotten away, and i worry that eventually something will catch her... anyone have any suggestions on catching a japanese bantam that can fly 30+ feet in the air??? (she's fast too!!)
