hey guys i have a silkie and a runner together and i have gone up the the biggest cage i have for both of them and they still dont have as much room as i like plus the runner is so tall shes gonna hit her head lol. so my questions is.... what brooders do you have for the runners that are big and tall. thanks for any help.

I don't have that breed, but is it possible just to make a tall brooder out of a box or tote? I think that is what I would do... but I am new to this, so hopefully someone who has been there will respond to the post!

You could always use a large storage bin! I got mine at Wal-Mart, and as long as the two of them aren't going to escape or there aren't animals that are going to harm them, you can leave it without a top so the runner duck won't hit her head on anything. I personally have one that's about 4' long and 2' wide, and it's served me well.

today i just found the best thing! it is a flexy dog whelping pen and someone was throwing it out.. i have not measured exactly but its somewhere around. . . . .... 10 feet by 10 feet with no top. it truely is awesome. once i set it up i will post some pics. got my prayers answered

Runners are pretty tall, I don't think a storage tub would work. I don't know what a flexy dog whelping pen is, but I was thinking a large dog crate.
