Hi Miss Lydia...can you tell me what kind of feed they are using in this video? it looks like a powdery feed. my feed is a crumble, "grower/finisher" for my drakes, roosters & non-laying hens, and i feed my laying hens and ducks a "lay pellet" and i feed my ducklings and chicks a "starter/grower" crumble. what do you suggest i do in this case? should i make 3 different batches of each different feed that i use? this is what i think i should do. but then i would have to seperate my roosters from my hens at feeding time. you have ducks and drake/s, how do you feed them different FF's. do you give your laying ducks lay pellet mash and your drake/s and your rooster/s reg FF?I'll just give you the link and then you can decide not sure about adding oils to their feed probably in small amounts it would be okay

what kind of feed to you use to make your FF.
this may sound really dumb, but the feed that i find at my local feed store (TSC) all have specific age range for feeding, e.g 0-10 weeks for starter/grower and 10-18 weeks for grower/finisher and then after 18 weeks and older is says to feed a layer pellet, but it doesnt say what to feed a rooster or non laying hens/ducks? i am so curiouse what other people feed their roosters, drakes and non laying hens and ducks? there is a feed "flock raiser" but it has 18% protein and it is a few dollars more in price. but maybe i should feed my roosters, drakes, etc this feed?
I appreciate all responses to my questions. thank you
