going through his molt about 3 weeks ago .

I am totally in love with this blk too love the greens and blues and purples in his feathering. Not sure though he may molt out chocolate next molt too.

Nice picture. You caught the light just right to show the greens and purples. I think my black drakes show green on their head/neck area and the purple more on the body. I will have to check.

Love to see a pic of him. Snoop does have more green on his head and neck it's so hard to pick up the beautiful colors.

Just to clarify on Blue Fawn in the US nomenclature, Blue Fawn is wild colour with 1 dose of incompletely dominant blue. The drake will express a neck ring. The drake in the photo looks to be a Blue Dusky as opposed to a Blue Fawn. Duskies are one of my favourites!
