Thank you and you are most welcome. They are still being not too messy at all and very quiet except for the whistle. It's really cute because you can hear them peeping quietly to each other all day like they are having a real conversation about something.

How will you know for sure if you have drakes or hens or not? The green freckles on the bills of mine made it pretty easy once they were that old and the quacks but I know some of them can hold off on quacks. I did not know if you can tell by bill color on the black ones or not.

I don't think that makes a difference plus their bills are kind of black everything about them is black lol

This friend could barely hear their voices so I am holding out that I have at least one female. Last time I let one of my Muscovy sit on Runner eggs My mauve orpington was sitting on Runner eggs too would you believe only one egg hatched from both of them and both were drakes.
