8 magpie eggs and 5 ancona. In the incubator and they are due saturday! I am listening to them peeping in their eggs right now. Very loud one a sec. Ago. No bedtime tonight...

OH my goodness. So soon. Awsome. Will you be able to tell the Magpie lings from the Anconas?
Seems like it would be hard as ducklings. Well if the are black/white.

You will of course post pictures, right?

Love, love, LOVE these pics!!! Mine won't be here until June so I have to live vicariously through this thread.   My final order was four blue runners, four fawn and white runners and three white cresteds.

I am sure I will be able to tell the difference. Magpies have a distinct pattern (And I have the shells marked). Of course there will be pictures. I asked them if they will be pipping soon and I got PEEP PEEP. I hope that means yes.

Here is olivia- blue runner duckling. She is always on my lap when im sitting in the brooder! I love her!

Thats from a few days ago... but i loved how they all stood up so straight!
They are all so friendly, they love when i sit with them!
They are getting so big. I will try to get more pics again tonight or tomorrow

Oh and this.... brought them in for a swim. They took up most of the bathtub now. Another week and i will prob have to let half swim at a time haha!

Guess what happened a couple hours ago?
I hadn't looked in the 'bator for awhile so I walked in and THERE'S A MAGPIE DUCKLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

since she hatched today her name is patricia! I AM SO HAPPPY!!!!!!!!!! (So happy that I spelled happy wrong..)

I can't believe I missed It! I'm am hereby glued to the 'bator! And guess which one it was? MD the one who kept rocking!
