Runner duck colour

So I had an Indian Runner Duckling who was a bit of a darker yellow colour. As she grew she turned white. She is now 7 weeks and is starting to get darker feathers coming in (see pic). The breeder who I got the hatching eggs from had suspected the darker yellow duckling would be a Fawn & White. Could this be the fawn starting to come through? Do all penciled runners start out white? Could this be a different colour?
