My 2 mo. Runner's nostrils sound stuffy all the time & seems to hv a hard time breathing. I've had him on antibiotics for 5 days now, given him baths etc. But he just can't seem to clear it & I don't see anything in it. Could it be something else?

Do they have a bowl deep enough to clean out their nares all the time? Try that and put some ACV into it to help clear out any bacteria that maybe in there. they can get dust from feed and bedding up in there and if no way to wash it out it stays clogged, Most antibiotics say 7-10 days so hopefully you'll notice some improvement soon along with the ACV are you putting the antibiotics in their water/ if so don't use the ACV till after finishing up the antibiotics.

Welcome to BYC

When you use the ACV it's 1 Tab to 1Gal of water.

Yes he has a small pool & a large deep bowl. He seems to shake his head a lot & will dunk his head & play but I never hear him blow his nostrils in the water like my other ones. I will try ACV after the antibiotics, thank you very much.. I hate hearing him struggle.

The only other suggestion would be a good avian vet but that isn't always feasible, What about when he is swimming does he duck and clean then? Make sure even at 2 months old that he doesn't get chilled when wet.
