So this past May we brought home 4 ducklings from my daughters school which they hatched from eggs....a indian runner, a blue swede and 2 mallards. About a week ago we started having problems with Quackers who is the only male and the Indian Runner. My daughter was pulling weeds and shushed him away and he came back and popped her on her head multiple times. Now any time I walk away from where ever he is near he starts chasing after me and biting my pants. He does this to our chickens as well. I need a solution to get him under control or hes going to need to go else where. Any help is appreciated!

He's starting to act on his hormones. There are several threads about drake aggression I think most people pick them up and hold them for a while to show that they are the boss. Depending on your daughters age she will also need to show that she is the boss. You can keep a long stick, piece of bamboo, broom etc available to ward him off, not to hit him but to tap and block his advances.

Also, be careful with him and your chickens. Drakes will try to mate with chickens and they are not anatomically compatible. It can be dangerous or deadly for the chicken.
