about a week ago we found one of our Runners with a prolapsed oviduct. We washed it and pushed it back in and kept her isolated for about a week. Seemed to be getting better so let her rejoin the flock and forage in the yard. Two days later she started limping and today she is holding the foot in the air. Looking closer her foot seems to be slightly swollen along the middle toe. Concerned about infection we started her Duramycin-10 (sp?) and have added a vitamin supplement to the water. Still keeping her isolated. We have thought all this is related to the prolaspe but this evening we have ANOTHER hen holding her foot up. Now I am thinking it could be something else. They are eating Purina Layena Sunfresh recipe. Can anyone help us??
