Runner duckling laying down a lot

Im nnot sure as they was a hatch project for the nursey the 2 that look the same had small eggs and bruce had a massive egg along with 2 other big ones but they didnt make it:( we got told they were runners but im not too sure myself-_- the 2 yellow ones are both 3 weeks and bruce is 3/4 days after them

Haha thanks they are arent they!XD

One of our farmer family friends came over today and he thinks 'bruce' is a female and that one of the other babies is also female and the other male so bruce is now "Flossy" and jemima and franco:')) new lil babies to iyla and reggie:love:love:love:love:love

Do her legs shake at all while standing or before laying down? Because my runner duck's legs shook like crazy for about 2 weeks when she was 3-4 weeks old. I read that their bodies grow so fast that their legs don't catch up as fast so they have trouble supporting their body.. and it seems to be more common with runner ducks. As long as you are giving her a supplement for niacin, I am sure that is what it is.. :)

So does duck/goose starter crums and pellets have the stuff they need??? Ive only ever used actual duck food as i thought they couldnt have chick crumbs because of what was in there.

I will see what i can get tho to try and help 'bruce' haha (the kids named 'him') and i will keep you updated View attachment 1420585 View attachment 1420585
