Runner Ducklings

So my fiance and I gave in and ordered some Indian Runner ducklings from Purely Poultry. Im very excited for them to arrive Monday, but nervous about shipping! Anyway, we were just curious about other peoples exerience with Runners? Or even better, Runners through this Hatchery. Thanks in advance! : ) this is our first time with ducklings, and though we've done our research advice from people who already have them is always nice .

Congrats that's so exciting!! I just got some runners from a local feed store to add to my flock and I love them!!! I have often read that they aren't big swimmers but mine absolutely love pool time! Maybe more so than my pekins and rouens did as ducklings!

It is very exciting! I just hope their trip goes well : ) . I've also heard they aren't big swimmers, so its good to know they might be! Our feed store didnt carry them this year or i wouldve gotten them from there!The minimum is much lower. six will be fun though, especially for our daughter, shes been wanting ducklings for months now. lol
