runner ducks... don't think so

Bought at feed store. They had runners and Pekin ducklings. Our pair of "runners" don't have the bowling pin look at all. What breed are they? Male is the black one & grey is female. They are 16 weeks old.

I will guess the one on the left is a blue Swedish runner mix, the other is either a black Swedish mix or possibly a cayuga pekin mix (I have seen a picture of that mix and it looked quite a bit like a black Swedish).

Black with shimmery purple-green-blue highlights? My black runners are like that. And Cayugas also have a lot of the shimmery highlights, I believe.

He's got a green head & blue "squares" on his wings with a white feather on each wing. Kind of reminds me of a wild mallard only biggerc& darker.

I agree. They both look Sweedish but a mix of some sort. I have a black sweedish that looks very similar
