We have 4 Indian Runner Ducks that are 4 month old that we put in our garden. They are eating on the plants (baby plants), should I take them out until they are older or is there a way to train them to eat other things beside the plants.

Actually most don't put their ducklings/duck into the garden till garden is past for clean up or wait till the plants are large enough to take a bit of nibbling, small tender plants haven't a chance either they will get eaten or smashed by duck feet. Or fence in the parts you don't want the ducks in.

Thanks that is what I was thinking but wasn't sure of. This is our first time having ducks.

They are a joy to have you just have to be willing to part with a few things or fence in what you don't want them to eat of step on. But the joy and losing all those nasty slugs and bugs makes up for it.
