Hi everyone decided to join as I am brand new to keeping ducks, my first six ducks!! They are now approximately five weeks old, we have had them three weeks. During the night and colder wetter times of the day they are under heat in a pen kept in the garage. When the sun is out I transfer them to a run with splash pool. I feed them on duck/ chicken crumbs with brewers yeast and grit, I also give them fresh green vegetables and meal worms. They have access to water, with cider vinegar added, 24/7. They seem healthy enough and I clean them out daily is there anything else I should do/not do to have happy babes? Thanks guys UK girlie

Oh here comes my first question for you experts out there, one of my ducklings approximately five weeks old has developed a bald patch on his back. I haven't noticed him being pecked/bullied he has mostly down with some adult feathers. I am feeding starter duckling food with Brewers yeast, green veg, and meal worms and the odd snail/ slug. They are under heat, and when the weather is warm enough out in the run for a splash and play. What is going on, should I worry?
