I don't know about Runners, but they are absolutely adorable! I'm considering getting a couple this spring, but I need to be careful as I could too easily let myself be overrun with irresistible ducks!
My Pekin lays an egg almost everyday. I get more chicken and duck eggs than my fiance and I can eat, so we just give them away to family and friends for now. Everyone has said that including some duck eggs is fine. But the foodies who are really into cooking are absolutely over the moon for the duck eggs and can't get enough. They especially love them for baking. I've seen some Craigslist ads in my area (including the Washington DC area where prices for everything are much higher), where people charge roughly twice for a dozen duck eggs than chicken eggs.
Some people don't care for eating straight up duck eggs for breakfast since they are a little different; others don't mind or can't tell enough of a difference to pay extra. Perhaps you can find some gourmet who can articulate eactly what it is that makes duck eggs so wonderful for cooking. Then you can use that to market them.

But would like to.
