Runner not laying

I rescued an adult fawn runner hen. She was brought into my clinic as a stray. Animal control took her for a bit and then she went to a home with chickens. Apparently she was laying while she was in that home. The previous owner said she was lonely and was super vocal and seemed unhappy without any other ducks. I’ve had her for 1.5months and she hasn’t laid an egg! There’s always food, water, and shelter available. She goes into the chicken coop and hangs out, but no eggs. Could it be stress?

The change in environment combined with a normal break in her laying cycle are probable causes.

No idea how old she is. She has 9 other friends and one is a male fawn runner

Oh okay I thought she was still with out duck friends. Well it may just take time for her to settle in. Ducks in general don't take to change very well and Runners probably have even a harder time because of their personality. Mine were all here from tiny hatchlings. And maybe she isn't old enough to lay yet or like sourland said just into her natural resting period before she starts up again.
