Runners vs Welsh Harlequin

Hello,
We currently have chickens, but looking into getting back into ducks.
More for fun and some eggs.
I can’t decide between Indian Runners and Welsh Harlequin.
Eggs are a bonus, but we get plenty from our chickens.
I would stay temperament, cold harshness, and willingness to hatch their own are number one. What’s your thoughts?

I have a black runner and a welsh harlequin! Mine are both pretty docile because I’ve spent a lot of time with them, But in my experience welsh harlequins are a lot easier to tame and are more docile. I’m terms of broodiness, I have never had my welsh harlequin become broody, but just at a year old my runner successfully hatched out 2 adorable ducklings. It just really depends on the ducks personality. I personally like welsh harlequins a bit more, but it depends on what you’re looking for!

In my experience both girls have been very cold hardy
