I no longer have six chicks locked in my basement! Now they are locked in the garage. They went from a 50 gal Rubermade style tote in to a 4x7.5x4 coop. Now they put their heads down and run. Sometimes into the 1/2" wire mesh walls of the coop. Will they learn not to do this or are they trying to break their necks?

hmmm one of mine did that today too. We were starting the chicken run and the kids were by the coop and accidently let one out. Well she ran around while my daughter chased her and she kept running straight at the wire on the side run section. I felt so bad she couldnt tell it was a wall poor little thing. Im sure they will learn though they seem quite smart.
