Running out of breath fast!

I have recently realised my rooster tends to get out of breath rather quickly when chasing the hens around, the coop he lives in has other rodents passing by .could that be the reason it has developed the problem , due to the rodents droppings? (Not enough ventalation as i have read it could be due to ammonia )

No, I don't think insufficient ventilation would cause this, especially if none of your other birds seem affected. Its more likely that he just has a weak heart or internal problem, or it could just be normal for him. Whatever it is, I don't think it is particularly serious, and even if it were, there isn't much you can do for him.

I have only two chickens a hen and him the hen is in a seperate coop and so is he . The coop he sleeps in has mice running around in but i have moved him today to a different coop. He never used to be like this before
