running out of options, please HELP!!!!!!!

i worry i had something to do with it, before she passed i had her on her back like a baby, because she was so weak, then i had her on her back when i was carrying her upstairs because her neck went limp. maybe she choked on crop fluid after being on her back
oh, don't be too hard on yourself!! :hugs

Sorry that you lost her. You can do your own limited necropsy at home with a sharp knife or scissors to look for yellow fluid (ascites,) internally laid egg masses, the color of her liver, her crop and gizzard contents. and any other unusual things. If you do, and I recommend it to help with understanding what was wrong, take pictures to post here. I do them with all of my losses, and have learned a great deal. This video shows a more advanced necropsy, but is good for the purpose of organ identification:

she’s in the freezer lol, we will be burying her soon. to anyone who stumbles across this thread and has a bird with similar symptoms, act fast and get a vet. if not run her through antibiotics and don’t wait.
