Bluetail laughed softly. It was almost as if his son could see him! Wait, could he? Bluetail looked at him more closely, it seemed as if he were staring straight at him! He waved his tail in greeting as an experiment to see if he would wave back

Surprised but pleased, Aspenkit waved his tail in greeting to his father.

His eyes widened in surprise. He did see him! He laughed and purred happily to himself. He flew/fell down into a nearby tree and slowly clambered down, still purring. He stalked quietly behind Sunstrike, then pounced and barreled her over. Sunstrike's claws came out, and she began to attack, thinking it was an ambush. Bluetail laughed and suddenly she stopped, and a sob escaped her throat. "Bluetail!" She chocked out, then nuzzled him so hard he was knocked over

"Father!” Aspenkit rushed forward, but stopped to give Sunstrike and Bluetail this moment.

Aspenkit was purring so hard he could scarcely speak. He nuzzled Bluetail and breathed in his scent. “You’re here!”

"I am." He was purring so hard, it seemed as if he were vibrating. He turned to Sunstrike. "Sunstrike, I know you will always love me and never forget me, but it's time to move on. Our kits need a father. StarClan told me to give you this message." She nodded solemnly, thinking it over carefully.

(Do you have any single tom charries around her age?)

(Ummm... I think my male charries are all kits at the moment...)
Aspenkit stayed pressed against Bluetail. He didn’t want to let him go yet.
