*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

Block it out. Block it out, she told herself. She lunges forward suddenly and scooped Redfrond’s paws out from underneath him, looking at the exact place where she struck, knowing he would expect a feign.
He stumbled, but quickly recovered his balance. As soon as he did, he jumped to the side, expecting her to lunge forward again while he was still regaining his composure. However, she hadn't lunged forward as he expected and instead he had wasted some valuable time he could've spent getting a few blows in. He quickly lowered his body, sticking out a paw, he spun, his paw knocking straight into her knees, hoping they would buckle and trying to make up for that lost time.

Snowpaw hopped over his flying paws and cuffed him over the ears.
 
"No!" He laughed, standing up and shaking off his pelt. "Remember that move I taught you? Where you let your body go limp?" He asked, gently reminding her
She silently cursed herself. I just can’t focus! “I’m sorry,” she sighed, feeling bitter. Mouse-brain!

"It's alright." He purred, giving her a gentle lick on the ear as he walked up to her. "We'll try again tomorrow. I can tell that something's on your mind. Hopefully you can take care of it tonight and you can be more focused tomorrow."

“Hopefully,” she muttered, not really paying attention. Not going to happen, but okay.
