Floodlight examined Snowfrost briefly and told her happily that her kits would come soon.

“It feels like it’s gone so fast, but at the same time it’s taken forever,” Snowfrost said.

"I will." Beetlepaw promised solemnly. On a lighter note, he added, "There's a new cat called Snowlily that might be joining us."
